Why Was Venom So Scared of Carnage?
We’re going to address a question raised by the 2nd Venom 2 movie. It gave us quite a lot of Carnage to look at. He was doing all sorts of crazy things, ranging from a prison fight to breaking Shriek out of the Ravencroft facility, and he even shoved his tongue in someone’s mouth in order to kill him. Now that was terrifying. But the most exciting factor of this film would be the ultimate battle between Carnage and Venom.

ToggleA Legendary Rivalry
Carnage is the greatest enemy of Venom. The film seems to be building up a pretty intense relationship and rivalry between Eddie and Cletus Kasady. That rivalry will surely intensify the final battle between the two symbiotes that they are hosting.
Facing Riot: Venom’s Previous Challenge
Riot was an insanely strong symbiote. Venom thought twice before taking him head on. He was right to be a little cautious because Riot almost took him down.
If it wasn’t for Ann, then Riot would have been successful in his mission,
Carnage: A New and Greater Threat
now Venom seems to be taking on someone even stronger than Carnage. As we saw in the trailer, the tendrils of Carnage turned into strong hardcore weapons, but now Venom seems to be taking on someone even stronger than Riot. Riot was able to create weapons out of his two hands and a few spikes from the rest of his body. But Carnage has all sorts of tendrils that can take the shape of different weapons such as swords, Spears, spiky maces, halberds, and whatnot. He can either use them to stab people or he can also shoot them as sharp projectile weapons to hit a long-range enemy.
Venom’s Fear and Hesitation
While Venom did charge at Carnage during his battle, he was initially quite hesitant to make a move. Upon seeing that bloody symbiote his reaction was -‘’ oh shit where you doing? But there’s a red one you need to come out right now.’’
Eddie literally had to bait Venom to re-emerge. But did you stop and ask why Venom was so terrified of Carnage all of a sudden? What does he mean by that’s a red one?
Carnage and Cletus: A Unique Bond
Well, a possible answer for this could relate to the bond that Cletus Kasady shares with Carnage. If you look closely at Carnage, he and Kasady seem to be the same entity. Venom and Eddie are two different individuals who have their own conscience. But Carnage and Cletus seem to be a single person. Venom forms around the body of Eddie, and when Carnage emerges, he looks as if he’s coming out of Kasady’s bloodlines. The symbiote actually transforms Kasady’s body into Carnage. On top of that, Carnage derives its color from the blood of its host. This makes his bond much stronger as Cletus has fully given in to the parasite. It’s not like Eddie and Venom. Eddie has to resist in order to stay in control, but Cletus is fully embracing the Carnage symbiote.
Carnage’s Resilience and Venom’s Challenge
This also means that Carnage is naturally more resilient to separation from his host. All this is exactly why Venom was a little hesitant to fight the red symbiote. He knows that defeating A symbiote that is bonded with the blood of the host is going to be significantly harder than even Riot.
Venom’s Challenge with Shriek
So now you see why Carnage is so dangerous. Venom already feels a bit powerless when we compare him to Carnage, but he’ll actually have to take on Shriek as well. the girl who screams She possesses the ability to emit high frequency sound waves, and that’s the exact weakness of Venom.
So, it will be really tough for him to beat both Carnage and Shriek without any external help. How do you guys think Venom will beat these two bad guys?
